Although Thoroughly Modern Millie is a joyous piece of theatre, it touches  upon the serious theme of sex trafficking, which still plagues the world today. Pirate Productions is working in concert with Amnesty International and ECPAT to raise awareness about this issue. The penultimate performance on the 18th of October coincides with European Anti-Trafficking Day.
